In the NRL we have confirmation that Michael Gordon has announced his retirement in 2019.
Michael Gordon was born on the 24th October 1983 at Cooma, New South Wales and he is an Australian professional Rugby League player. He plays as a Fullback and sometimes on the wing for the Gold Coast also Michael represents New South Wales in the State Of Origin. Michael has played for 5 different teams such as Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Penrith Panthers, Sydney Roosters, and the Parramatta Eels. He played his junior for the Tweed Coast Raiders and went to school at Kingscliff High School and graduated in 2001. But sadly he is retiring. To quote him: “I am very proud to be a Titan and very grateful to the Gold Coast for giving me the chance to finish my career by representing the region I started with as an under-7 with the Tweed Coast Raiders many years ago”.

Ben Simmons has said that he has been racially profiled by a security member at a casino and Ben said he and his friends felt like they were singled out. Ben Simmons was born on the 20th July 1996 and was born in Melbourne and he is a Professional Australian Basketball player and played for Philadelphia in the NBA. He played basketball in college and studied at Louisiana State University and played for their team the Tigers. One day he was selected to play in the NBA draft 2016 but sadly he had to sit the year out due to a foot injury he endured on his right foot. But he came back in 2018 and was announced the NBA rookie of the year and was assigned for the All-Star selection in 2019.
