Harry Potter, Review.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerers/Philosophers Stone better known as Harry Potter Book 1 or the first book in the best selling books series ever. Everyone has seen the movies knows the actors but have you actually read the books and explored the depth that is not shown in the movies. I absolutely love the Harry Potter books I have read so far but my favourite by far at the moment is the Philosophers Stone.

We are introduced to the main character, the chosen one, the protagonist, Harry Potter. ‘Yer a wizard Harry’. And off Harry goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, on the way there we meet Ronald Weasley the second youngest of six children. With a mop of red hair and hand me down robes. He easily becomes Harry’s first best friend. A little while later we meet Hermione who is a muggle-born genius. This is the Golden Trio.

Hogwarts is amazing, so is the food, some of the teachers and the adventures. This book has it all. Throughout the year the Golden Trio have to figure out what the Philosophers Stone is and who wants to steal it. The adventure is a whirlwind of mystery, intrigue and discovery. At the end we get the ultimate twist, the biggest secret revealed, the most amazing discovery ever (jk that comes later) but you get what I mean. We find out who was trying to find the stone and it’s a person no one expected. Stuff happens points are awarded and everyone is happy except the Slytherins but hey it doesn’t matter right.

Sorry if this review sucks but I honestly love this book and it goes into so much more depth then the movie. It is a must-read. Also down below I will link the Wizarding World website where you can take the test that decides what house you are in.

I’m a Slytherin and Maddy is a Hufflepuff. What an odd pair am I right?

Till Next Time.
